The course explores data analysis techniques that are applied to real-world business problems. Students will learn software to analyze data and to make strategic decisions. In addition, students will learn how to monitor and predict marketing and sales metrics and how to turn sales data into actionable plans. Students will also learn how to incorporate digital marketing tools such as effective web site design, blogging, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO) into an organization’s marketing strategy. Through discussion of digital marketing concepts and hands-on projects and assignments, students will learn how to use digital marketing to create positive organizational outcomes.
